Taking on 2027 Kathmandu Coast to Coast? Yesterday at the @lake_hawea_epic . First time giving it a go, and loved it. Jam and cream scones, slashed tire, mud, rocks, bee stinging in my helmet, fun downhills, punchy uphills, epic views, shifters shaking themselves loose, lots of friendly faces. Will have to come back next year for the full loop eh @dougal_allan In case you're interested, I've written a quick blog on exactly what I ate during this year's @coasttocoastnz race. The fuel and drink that helped me stay on the podium. Enjoy and perhaps learn from my mistakes. Something new I've created this year. I'd really appreciate it if you can help get it up and running by giving my page a follow, or better throw in a series entry 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️. Doing Kathmandu Coast to Coast 2026? Get your hands on my 15 week training plan through to race day. Kick off is in 1.5 weeks- 29th October. It suits anyone who is not keen to commit to a coach and wants to save on $$. It does come with plenty of supporting resources and a community group that will help you have a successful day. I also help keep you on track with a monthly Facebook live Q&A. Sword fighting yesterday with the Katana and the Suiko 🥷. One of the many features on the Waimakariri River filmed by @topsport_or_die during the race. I'm the 3rd paddling in the black carbon kayak. The best thing about this kind of racing is the infinite amount of lines that are possible. Thanks to all that showed up to the @topsportkayaking race yesterday and gave it a go. Jog/hike from the Grand Canyon Rim to the Colorado and back this morning. Hard work getting back up 🥵 Great to dabble in some bigger whitewater than the Waimak. It's tricky to get the Okuku River at this flow, lucky to nail it yesterday with a great crew! Mount Earnslaw/Pikirakatahi east peak yesterday 🗻. Thanks @bmanguse and @hamishfleming23 for the day adventure. This place goes good
